A Declaration of Love and Commitment

Becoming married – declaring your intention to join your life to another’s in the presence of those closest to you – is a momentous rite of passage, a statement of deep intention, and an act of courage.  Amid the pressing decisions involved in creating your wedding day, it can be easy to forget that your marriage begins with this act of intention.

A meaningful, heart-centered approach

I am honored to work with all couples, of any or no faith tradition, and from all cultural heritages, to create a heart-filled ceremony that you and your guests will consider a meaningful rite of passage into your married life.

Wedding ceremonies crafted by Life-Cycle Celebrants are personalized, custom-crafted rituals intended to reflect the values and unique story of each person and each couple. From start to finish you are empowered to create a ceremony that lets your lives and your love speak.

"Put simply, Rebecca made our wedding. Her gentle sincerity, loving attention to detail, and genuine desire to make our ceremony a work of art, will remain in our hearts with gratitude for the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough good things about her and would recommend her to anyone who wants to make their marriage unforgettable. I feel so lucky that she was available to take on the task- she's truly one in a million."  --Noelle and Tim

It's Your Ceremony

As your wedding celebrant, I will work with you to determine how you’d like your ceremony to reflect upon the commitment you are making. I will guide you through the process, draft the ceremony, suggest ritual elements and readings if those are indicated, lead a rehearsal, provide cue sheets for musicians if necessary, sign your marriage license, and officiate at the wedding.

"Thank you Rebecca, for being our wedding celebrant! We felt confident that you would be able to manage and incorporate all of our ideas and requests -- even last minute changes.  Many people commented on what a great job you did and how personal the ceremony was. Thanks for making it so special for us!!"

Are you planning a ceremony?

Here’s how it works. When you schedule your consultation, I’ll ask you clarifying questions about your upcoming celebration or ceremony, and you can decide whether I am the right celebrant for you.

If we decide to work together, I’ll meet with you in person, and use personalized questionnaires to help us understand what is most important to you as you mark this life event.

I look forward to hearing your story.
